Hillsong Young & Free  - Pride Of A Father [Mp3, Lyrics, Video]

Pride Of A Father - Hillsong Young & Free [Out Here On A Friday Where It Began]

Contemporary Gospel group Hillsong Young & Free churns out a brand new video to their new single, “Pride Of A Father.”

The new release comes off Young & Free’s latest EP project, “Out Here On A Friday Where It Began”, recorded live at youth from Sydney, Australia.

Giving insight on the new EP project, Laura Toggs (For Young & Free) says, “We couldn’t wait to introduce the new songs to our youth, so we recorded them LIVE on a Friday night barely three weeks later.”

“Out Here On A Friday Where It Began” is our youth gathered together and declaring the name of Jesus and making a statement that the church is alive and we’re here.” – she concluded.

Written over the course of just one week, Hillsong Young and Free enlisted collaboration from several of their youth ministry members to help produce the compilation.

Lyrics of Pride of a Father by Hillsong Young & Free

[Verse 1]
I could run a thousand miles,
To win the race of life,
But what’s the value,
Without You.

I could write a thousand psalms,
To captivate Your heart,
But more than offerings,
Lord, You seek the depths of me.

When You see me,
You see my heart,
Through the eyes of Your mercy,
In the light of Your Son.

You love me,
With open arms,
And the pride of a father.

[Verse 2]
I was once a prodigal,
Burdened by my shame,
Till You came running,
To remind me.

Your love is unconditional,
And in Your eyes, I’m worthy of,
What was lost is now redeemed.

Who am I that You love me,
Who am I that You saved my soul,
Who am I without You Lord.

Who am I to be worthy,
Who am I that You’re mindful of me,
Who am I that You call me Yours.
